What it feels Like
An art exhibition by Mohamed Jabaly and Jenny Andersen
WHAT IT FEELS LIKEAn art exhibition by Mohamed Jabaly and Jenny Andersen.
Mohamed was born and raised in Gaza and have lived through three wars. Jenny is from Trondheim and lived through the attack on Utøya 22 july 2011. We experienced different traumas in totally different parts of the world, done by different people for different reasons. In spite of that, we have shared some of the same reactions and feelings in the years after. When words fail to explain how we feel, and we get trapped with our memories, we turn to art. Using photography, painting and video, we want to tell people about our personal reactions, thoughts and feelings after living through acts of war and terror. Opening 02.02.2017 at 19:00, free entrence. There will be refreshments and a musical preformance by Torje Hanssen. Big thanks to Tvibit, Small Projects and Torje Hanssen |

IN BETWEEN HERE AND THERE
In the light of all the challenges and circumstances surrounding people and the siege imposed place, human, and the lack of freedom of movement between the inside and the outside world of Gaza. The art project is reflecting an image of the situation of young people towards life, by linking the personal space of the artist in the reality that he lives and reflect his internal state of absolute psychological and physical siege that he experiences and link it to the place. The main idea of our art project is to break the boundaries throughout the convergence of colors and image through the joint artistic production between the two artists’ brothers, and the mutual developing of the artworks remotely and by bringing the picture closer to reality.
The exhibition was opened at small-projects gallery on Friday, 21st June 2019 at 19:30. - Ali Jabaly is a 26-years old Palestinian Artist from Gaza, he studied interior design, he is a professional painter specialized in portraits, fine art, illustration, and digital art painting.
